An exciting opportunity exists to be part of the first cohort of families to partner with Reading and Writing Solutions at an introductory offer rate.
Reading and Writing Solutions uses neuroscience-backed programs to identify the barriers of learning difficulties and give students the tools they need to truly thrive.
An in-person 20 week program designed to improve reading, writing, auditory processing, memory and sensorimotor coordination.
Reading and Writing Solutions has been built on compassion, on evidence, and on the belief that every child has potential that a teacher’s mark sheet can’t always see. If your child is struggling at school, avoiding it altogether, or falling further behind despite your best efforts, you’ve found the right place.
Based in Redcliffe, we work with children from preschool age through to high school and beyond, using research-backed, neuroscience-based programs to uncover why your child is struggling and resolve it. Be among the first cohort of families to partner with Read and Writing Solutions to join this exciting new 20 week program at an introductory offer rate.

Every child who comes to Reading and Writing Solutions starts with a comprehensive assessment to understand how they process sound, language, and sensory feedback.. From there, we match your child to the programs that will make the greatest difference.

Our programs build the skills children need to truly engage with school. We offer auditory processing, memory, sensory, and motor programs to target the neurological foundations of learning, while our phonics-based programs systematically work through the building blocks of literacy.
It can be overwhelming trying to work out what is going to be the best solution for your child. To help you identify if Reading and Writing Solutions may be the answer for your child. Here are some questions to ask yourself. If you answer yes to these, we can help you.
Fill in our enquiry form or call us directly. We’ll ask a few questions about your child and what you’ve been experiencing and answer any questions you have before booking.
We’ll schedule a time for your child to come into our Redcliffe centre to complete a 2-hour assessment with Ruth.
If a program is recommended and you’re ready to begin, we’ll schedule your child’s start date and confirm all the details. From there, sessions are in-person five days a week for the duration of the 20-week
At the end of the program, your child completes a re-assessment to measure how much progress has been made. There is a lot to celebrate, including gains that show up not just in academic performance but in confidence, social engagement, and daily life at home.
Tutoring assumes a child already has the tools to learn. We start by finding out why they’re struggling, and implement a program specifically built for them.
Our 20-week programs draw on research-based neuroscience principles to build life-long literacy.
Ruth went through this journey as a parent first. After success with her own children, she dedicated her career to helping other families. She knows all too well what it feels like to be in your shoes.
We work hard to make this center feel free from the pressures and anxieties children may associate with the classroom. Kids can be kids here – free from judgement, and parents are always welcome.
Ruth is the founder of Reading and Writing Solutions and holds a Masters in Educational Neuroscience, a Bachelor of Special Education, and a Bachelor of Disability Studies. Before building this centre, she spent years as a parent searching for the right help for her own children, and that experience is at the heart of everything she does.
Ruth started where many parents start in the same situation: with a child who was struggling, a system that wasn’t quite meeting their needs, and a determination to find a better way. She found it, and now she’s here to share it with you.
If you’ve been searching for the right support for your child, the next step is simple. Book a comprehensive assessment and let’s find out exactly where to begin.
